Weary Weavers
[gallery link="file"] The above photos are a sampling of the samples produced by the hard-workin’ women of the 8-Shaft Overshot Study Group. Having worn myself out producing 7 samples (just star - no rose) of a fairly straight-forward blooming leaf treadling
Bloomin’ Blooming Leaf
[gallery link="file" order="DESC" columns="2" orderby="title"] Above are photos of the length of study samples for the 8-Shaft Overshot Study Group led by Anita Thompson. The threading and treadling are the same for all samples. but the tie-ups change, and there is
8 Shaft Overshot
Above is the first sample of the traditional blooming leaf overshot pattern on 8 shafts using the following tie-up. I have completed 2.5 samples and need to complete at least three tomorrow - much slower going then I anticipated - but
No Entry
This will be a paltry entry - very late - still more fringing to do. I was at school today - great lecture on converting a 4-shaft overshot draft to an 8-shaft -no tabby-on opposites. Can’t wait to mess with it.
No Tails Continued…

Leah’s Windows
[gallery link="file"] Windows scarf washed and dried - I just have to finish the fringes. I don’t know what got into me - I am a fringe dweller - I love the long fringe. For this scarf I only left 6”
More Windows
I worked on Leah’s Scarf today, and I think it is going to be GOOD. I am halfway through and wondering if I will have the grit to head out in the dark and finish it tonight?? I am also amazed
Windows
[gallery link="file"] Windows seem to be a theme - maybe because it has been so cold that my only relationship with the outdoors is through my frosty windows. I am weaving Leah’s Scarf 1 in a double weave windows pattern (the
