I had the final show for my Master Weaver Certificate at Hill Institute (no relation). There was one other Master Certificate awarded this year to Diane Howes. We shared the room with all the current students who are in Master Weaver program at Hill. The space was tight, and it was very difficult to arrange things NOT to look like a grammar school jumble sale.
In any case, I am officially a Master Weaver – so I guess I will never make another threading or sleying error, miscalculate warp yardage or set something incorrectly – whew!
I just got the second series of rep placemats off the loom so I can actually set the table for eight with handwoven placemats and linen napkins. Now to redevelop an interest in cooking . . .
