Fear Overcome (sort of)
I did it – I made the buttonholes – they are not bound, but machine stitched. They are okay, but I am determined to do bound buttonholes for the real coat. I am going to do another sample warp for the coat fabric, but my new fear is weaving the plaids perfectly square in order to match the plaids when sewing. I guess I should think of it as my “new challenge” rather then my “new fear”. Meanwhile, I am itching to use some of the yarn I dyed in Gail Calahan’s workshop to do an quick and easy escapist weaving project.
