Spooked

Just days before Halloween I am really spooked. Not by the painted and mustachioed mannequin head mounted on my dress form (youngest son’s WIP costume), but by the LOADS of snow currently falling and weighing down all my still-green bushes and trees. Pre-halloween blizzard? Really?
Despite my current state of “chionophobia” I was able to get a mixed bag of things off my singles linen warp. They are currently in the tub, but I am excited to see the results. I threaded it for an 8-shaft honeycomb, but I wove it ina variety of different tie-ups and treadlings. I used all singles linen until the end when I experimented with some wonderful paper yarns from Habu. I will post the post-wash results tomorrow (if we still have electricity – hope, hope!)
