Beamed!
I just finished beaming Cotton Baby – ready to weave. Since my Dye-day is Tuesday I am going to warp the little loom with 10/2 linen for a series of natural linen warp and hand-dyed, African mohair weft seat cushions. I have been experimenting with some point twill threading possibilities. I like the bolder patterns, but they tend to have longer floats so I may have to settle for a less bold threading for the sake of stability.
I have been on the Dharma Trading web-site looking at acid dyes. I really have to discipline myself while looking at their site. It incites project mania in me – ohh screen printing, silk painting, batik . . .
