Peat and Repeat

So, since my last entry I have been fretting about the Gulf coast oil spill and then trying to drown my sorrows in yarn and heddles. I have “finished’ another first draft of my overshot on opposites masters project. There is an unbalanced treadling in the very center so – once again with feeling . . .
I have also completed sample 2 for Scary Coat (see above). I am contented with the stability and am setting up the big loom up for the six yards needed for the coat. I will then need to face the challenge of fulling six yards of fabric (in the tub?) evenly. My sewing guru Cheryl Rezendes has recommended a further specialist, Chris White – a felting guru. I am so lucky to have such fiber stars in my area – I can use all the help I can get.
