Little by Little
I finished and mailed the Kid Mohair – Baby Alpaca scarf today – it’s Baby Baby because it is all baby animal fiber – very soft. I think there is a little silk in there as well – but a silk worm could be considered sort of babyish (small and squishy). I beaded and twisted the fringes on Purple & Blue Bamboo 2. Both came out well I think.
The background photo above is the Alpaca Boucle blanket (one of three is about halfway woven. I promised myself that if I could finish one today, I could take a weaving day off tomorrow and do some holiday preparation of which I have done NOTHING – PANIC! But unless I have the gumption to return to the studio tonight after cooking dinner, I will have to continue weaving blankets tomorrow (inch by inch row by row).
