Christmas Eve
Despite a nasty fall on the ice followed by a shameful expletive that echoed through the cold, still, Christmas Eve morning, I managed to work in the studio for most of the day (dressing the loom for Valentine). The turkeys came for a visit (see above). The boys and Doolie delivered Christmas cookies to the neighbors and were well rewarded with treats. A friend brought me some fresh venison and another brought me some beautiful paper-white narcissus. Matt braved town for some last minute gifts and was rewarded with . . . compost duty, firewood duty, cardboard recycling duty when he got home – sorry Matt. Now the stockings are hung . . . and to all a good night!
