Inside the Belly of the Loom
I spent the day inside the loom but did get the Guild blanket threaded and beamed. Even though I am traditionally a back-to-front warper I began warping my AVL from front to back in order to avoid removing the beater and breast beam – It seems to work quite well although I’m unclear on the whole pre-sleying/re-sleying issue, i.e. when it is necessary and when one can pre-sley directly into the correct reed? Perhaps a post on Weavolution.
On another note – the weather has been dark and rainy/icy for days so my photo colors are very strange and not true to life – don’t worry.
