Tied One On
I couldn’t resist – even though I was supposed to be scheduling my older son’s college visits (BAD MOM!) I had to revisit the bumpy alpaca. The colors in the photo are not accurate – I will add (daytime) photos tomorrow. The colors are a heathery, sage-y green and a heathery, baby blue. Eww – right? No! The plain weave areas are a very pleasing heathery turquoise and the blue and green look surprisingly good together. I am hoping to finish and full tomorrow (perhaps overly optimistic) – an old friend and kids are coming for a visit . . .
Oh, on another note, my Socks 2 “tapestry” is a finalist in the Hand Woven contest. Yeah! Proves that the Hand Woven crew have a sense of humor.
