Furry Fury
What is it with me and pelts. I seem to be creating another one. I have this feeling that weaving is somehow encoded in my DNA, that humans have evolved to be connected to textiles, but now I am thinking that my impulse is devolving into the pre-textile, pelt-wearing epoch of prehistory.
This is a WIP blanket that was intended as a funny, large mohair, houndstooth, but after some sampling I decided to go with a plain weave with tapestry insets. Once brushed – very pelt-y.
