Freud and Buttonholes
Somehow, I am thinking about, writing about and trying to make BUTTONHOLES all the time. Dr. Freud???
Now that I am off the couch, I wanted to post a couple of picture of the technique I mentioned in a previous blog. Chris Hammel gave me this tip over the phone after I had woven 5 towels with nasty, gaping, “pig’s eye” buttonholes. She said to sew them as you go in order to maintain even tension. See the results above. Not perfect, but MUCH closer.
