Bold-y
Great minds . . . thanks M. I went ahead with the stash-busting warp to tie on to the Sock Baby. It is far from traditional baby pink – it is current, burnt sienna, tea rose, cantaloupe, camellia and ochre. It will be Bold-y! The warp is wound and I will finish tying on tomorrow.
Now I have to develop a project for my small loom which is currently undressed. Another double weave knitting needle holder in blues and greens? A baby blanket in the blooming leaf overshot pattern (like Valentine) but with an “experimental” tie-up to produce the “blooming leaf” flowers and stripes? I might also do some samples for seat covers I want to make in linen and bicycle-spun African mohair. Any suggestions?
