Weaving Wizardry
Okay, it’s not a blog about a magical weaving technique, (Sorry – I’m pretty short on those). It is about a few hours of weaving before the wild wizardry began (and continues . . )
I finished Alpaca 3 and am waiting instructions on fringe treatment. My client wants long, flow-y fringes, but after handling the blanket today and becoming coated with alpaca fluff – mostly from the 18” untwisted fringes – I might advise against it.
I also almost finished winding the warp for the 4/8 Zephyr throw that is next on the loom. See above.
