Socks II
Even though I have – let’s see – SEVEN commissions at the moment (Yippee! Yikes! Tremble . . .) I had to see Socks II to its smelly conclusion. I still have to do something with the warp threads, and I have a great Neruda excerpt I want to embroider on it. The excerpt is as follows:
So this is the moral of my ode:
beauty is beauty
twice over
and good things are doubly
good
when you’re talking about a
pair of wool
socks
in the dead of winter
