Finally Finished
The third alpaca blanket is off the loom and in the tub at the moment. (sigh of relief). The above empty cones are from the alpaca boucle used for the blankets. 12 cones for 3 blankets – should be very warm blankets.
Tomorrow before the birthday party I hope to wind the warp for the next blanket in the queue with the above colors of 4/8 Zephyr. It will be in a straight-draw twill that I planned to tie -on to the alpaca throw (which was also straight-draw 12 epi.) However, I didn’t have quite enough warp left to leave a substantial fringe (requested by customer) and tie knots. So it will be back inside the loom on my little chair.
