Wedgwood
The above is a new Master Weavers’ project – the overshot – as drawn in requirement. A baby blanket inspired by Wedgwood ceramics. It is a 10/2 cotton warp and tabby weft with a merino wool pattern weft. I am most definitely NOT a fan of baby blue and pink baby accouterments, but I liked the idea of the raised white merino pattern weft and how it was reminiscent of the raised patterns on wedgwood. I like the pink sample treadling more then the blue, but the project requires a star-fashion tie-up soooo that is what I am doing (I hope).
