Weary Weavers
The above photos are a sampling of the samples produced by the hard-workin’ women of the 8-Shaft Overshot Study Group. Having worn myself out producing 7 samples (just star – no rose) of a fairly straight-forward blooming leaf treadling – I was awe struck by the complex and multitudinous samples produced by my peerless peers. Anita Thompson – our fearless leader and the tie-up queen is sending a notebook of the samples, drafts and information to Handwoven Magazine. We might be the published Weary Weavers of Western MA.
