Hidden Spectrum Scarf

This pattern is one I created after seeing a commercially woven, silk scarf with unwoven warp floating in between layers. It was
mesmerizing, and I wanted to try re-creating it for handweavers. My version is woven on 8 shafts using 20/2 wool and a spectrum of colorful Tencel made subtle by the fine wool “envelope”. The colorful Tencel peeks out at the layer exchanges and in the fringe, and its un-woven movement is hinted at through the wool.  Pattern Available on Etsy
