Straight Eight at Harrisville

In this class we will delve deep into all that a “straight eight” threading can offer. Each participant will select a colorway of their choice and wind a 6-yard warp on which we will explore/discover the many structures possible using this versatile threading. We will explore, twill, crepe, collapse, weft-faced/warp-faced, deflected double weave, waffle, double weave and more. Each participant will leave class with 5 large or 8 small towels and a wealth of possibilities for future projects.
